Swimming pools are a great way to cool off during the summer and stay active all year round. But, with so many people using the pool, it’s important to have proper changing rooms in place to ensure safety and hygiene. One way to do this is by implementing a one-way system for entering and exiting the pool area.
This system involves walking on the right side of the barrier and looping back around before heading through the swim ready door. It’s important to note that changing rooms can only be utilized after a swim, not beforehand. To ensure the safety of other members, it’s important to remove shoes behind the hazard tape and be cautious of passing members.
When entering the pool, make sure you know which lane you wish to swim in and follow the one-way system. Any belongings should be placed on the bench or chair at one of the designated changing stations and it’s important to keep two meters apart. Once you are finished swimming, follow the one-way system around the pool to the female or male changing room.
Before exiting, it’s important to use the hand sanitizer and press the green button. Be mindful of people exiting from the stairs when leaving the pool area. With these guidelines in place, you can ensure a safe and hygienic swimming experience for all members.
